Skrillex is to play an exclusive show for Manchester's Warehouse Project.
The US bass technician will hit the Rainy City on December 6, with tickets going on sale at 9am on August 31.
“He’s not on tour and wasn’t scheduled to be landing in the UK at all this winter, but he wants to come and put the new venue through its paces, with his complex bass-oriented sounds rumbling through its steel and brick work,” read a statement from the WHP promoters.
He'll be selecting his own support DJs too, with the line-up to be announced in the coming weeks. In other news from the venue, the Hot Creations and Bloc Party events have now sold out.
The launch of the new venue proper, after a preview earlier in the year, happens on September 28.
Rinse FM will be taking charge, with Katy B, Skream, Diplo, Boy Better Know, Kode 9, Plastician, Pearson Sound, Ben UFO, Roska, Loefah, Joker, Icicle and Brackles.
