Fatboy Slim, Deadmau5, Richie Hawtin and Luciano will play this year’s Sonar festival, running June 14-16 in and around Barcelona.
The globally recognised electronic event also promises appearances from Hot Chip, Maya Jane Coles, The Roots, Laurent Garnier (as part of LBS), Julio Bashmore and Spaniard John Talabot; not to mention live sets by Nicolas Jaar, Amon Tobin and Squarepusher.
Next month, meanwhile, Modeselektor will play A Taste Of Sonar in Cape Town, South Africa. The March 2 party is something of a warm-up to Barcelona; as are further nights planned in Tokyo (SonarSound, April 21, featuring Mount Kimbie) and Sao Paulo, Brazil (Sonar Sao Paulo, May 11, featuring Jeff Mills and Seth Troxler among others).
