Organisers of premier electronic festival Sonar will take their show on the road this autumn, specifically to North America and Canada. And Visionquest’s Seth Troxler will headline.
Troxler joins Paul Kalkbrenner, Nic Fanciulli, Azari & III and South African hip-hoppers Die Antwoord on a Sonar tour running October 31 (Chicago) to November 10 (LA) via Toronto, New York, Montreal, Boston, Denver and Oakland. Canadian tech-ster Tiga also performs, bar the final two shows; meanwhile French producer Gesaffelstein will play Denver, Toronto and Chicago.
Sonar is traditionally based in Barcelona, covering all shades of the pioneering electronic spectrum, but it also operates off-shoots in countries such as Japan and South Africa. Its forthcoming American tour will focus purely on dancefloor-friendlier beats.
