Boston’s dynamic duo Soul Clap, linked to the furious clubland debates on edit culture in clubland earlier this year, are set to ‘out’ their very first mix compilation next spring.
Social Experiment 002 will blend over 24 tracks in the sleek nu-disco space from close affiliates including Wolf + Lamb’s Gadi Mizrahi, Art Department, Benoit & Sergio and Tanner Ross; not to mention Seth Troxler and Craig Richards. It is set to precede an unmixed album featuring some of the comp’s exclusive cuts; more details are to follow.
Toronto label No 19 Music, founded by Art Department’s Jonny White (who also contributes solo material here,) releases the initial mix package on February 28, 2011.
