Columbian born Erick Morillo will needs little introduction. He is ranked as one of the world’s best DJs, always highly in demand and is drafted in to play the world’s biggest and best festivals, stadium gigs and super clubs. At Creamfields, Buenos Aries he played to a crowd of over 50,000 people, something that only a handful of DJs have done.

Erick is known for his innovative ideas and sexy imagery, and this year’s theme at his summer residency at Pacha, Ibiza is everything you'd expect from him. Inspired by black magic, tribal drums, aural potions and electrifying spells, this year Pacha goes Voodoo! ‘Voodoo Nights’ will see Erick sacrifice exotic beauties on the dance floor, and will feature amazing dancers writhing throughout the club to create an unparalleled atmosphere.

‘Voodoo Nights’ is also the title of his newest album release on Subliminal, a mix album that contains many of Erick’s upfront releases including his latest tracks with new blood Eddie Thoneick ‘Nothing Better’ and ‘Live Your Life’.  This album is an energetic soundtrack created to the recreate the vibe you’ll hear at his flagship events. Listen out for standout moments including former Deep Dish-er Sharam ’Don’t Say A Word’, Denis The Menace ‘Bamboleo’ and Jose Nunez ‘Dance Again’; a track that really blew up in Miami.

CD 2 maintains the peak time dancefloor pace with a Cevin Fisher exclusive ‘We are the Lucky Ones’ as well as a remix of Danny Tenaglia’s classic ‘Underground’ (Abel Ramos Remix). Another new collaboration to listen out for is that of Lee Kalt and Stan Kolev featuring Tora ‘Never Lose Control’, with Lee Kalt especially playing a big part in the label’s releases this year.

Erick Morillo’s world is sexy and fast-paced, much like his new album and Ibiza party; full of tribal drums and vocals. If you get the chance, go see him perform and see why he remains as a DJ at the top of his game.
