Upwardly mobile Italians Tale Of Us – Carmine Conte and Matteo Milleri – have confirmed US tour dates for January and February.
The duo, who have gained serious profile in the wake of EPs and remixes for Visionquest, Crosstown Rebels and Get Physical, not to mention regular gigging around the world, are scheduled to release their debut album (as yet untitled) later this year. The project, released through Visionquest, will display Conte and Milleri’s deep house and techno hallmarks but also wander into new sonic territory. Of the album, Visionquest’s Seth Troxler commented late last year: “They’re musicians; their ideas are wide-ranging. They’re outrageous.”
Tale Of Us’ new American tour is their biggest yet, starting January 20 with a Culprit Sessions party in LA before stopping January 24 (Montreal, Canada), January 25 (Boston), January 26 (Miami), January 27 (New York), January 28 (Puerto Rico), February 3 (Mexico City, Mexico), February 4 (Montanita, Ecuador), February 9 (San Francisco), February 10 (Chicago) and, finally, February 11 (Toronto, Canada).
