It’s no exaggeration to say that we’re all childishly excited about working on the Tensnake In The House project. It’s always a pleasure when an artist does something you weren’t quite expecting, even when you’ve been doing your level best to second guess him all the way. We can hand-on-our-hearts say that we LOVE this mix, and can’t wait until we can get it out there for everyone else ot make their own minds up about it too.

So to whet your appetite even more, we’ve picked out a few of the choicest cuts from the compilation, with a few words from us and a few from the man himself. And if this doesn’t get you chomping at the bit, check out the below mini-mix we’ve prepared.

Mugwump 'Boutade' (Miseridub)
A wonderfully restrained way to start the A beautifully lethargic, disco-tinged groover that sets you up perfectly for the delights to come.
“This remix is by Sasse and Ewan Pearson is the perfect track to start CD1.”

Zev 'Don't Break It' (Kenny Glasgow & Jonny White Remix)
Bounding and bleeping its way into your consciousness with an insanely infectious groove, this is sex music, pure and simple! The guys behind the phenomenal new Art Department project do a great job on the remix and modern-day classic is born.
“I’m a big fan of Wolf and Lamb! Great output all the way”

Tiger & Woods 'Dr. Burner'
Anyone who heard Tensnake’s now legendary RA will recognise this name; they contributed one of the stand-out tracks for that and have followed it up with another stormer. Feel-good, uplifting disco loveliness that it’s pretty much impossible not to move to.
“Another new mysterious production duo – Tiger and Woods’ identity remains a secret for now. An exclusive track for the compilation – usually vinyl only!”

Michael Mayer 'Amanda'
Over a decade old but still holding it with far more modern counterparts and sounding as fresh as ever; a testament to Mayer’s exceptionally forward-thinking production style. A breathy vocal adds class and depth to the deep-tech grooves.
“One of my favourite Michael Mayer tracks from back in the day, I’m happy to bring this back to life.”

The Chemical Brothers 'Swoon' (Lindstrøm & Prins Thomas Remix Edit)

Just when you thought The Chems might be coming to the end of their creative reign, they drop a track of this calibre and you feel embarrassed for ever doubting them. Awesome, hair-raising stuff, given the perfect shine by Lindstrom & Prins Thomas
“I had to have this on my compilation. This Lindstrom and Prins Thomas remix is so good it’s ridiculous – the perfect end to CD1.”

Mount Kimbie 'Carbonated'
Their debut LP has been much lauded by the music press as one of the standout electronic albums of the year, and ‘Carbonated’ is a prime example of why everyone’s getting so excited about them. Delving into electronic, glitch and urban but with a thoroughly house feel, this perfectly sets the tone at the start of CD2.
“One of the stand out tracks from one of my favourite new albums of the year. Great opener for CD2.”

Butch 'No Worries'

You’ve got to have had your hands firmly clenched over your ears for the past few years to have avoided hearing this one. Love it or loathe it, it’s been omnipresent in Ibiza and beyond this summer and further established Nick Curly’s Cecille imprint as a label of note.
“This is one of the biggest tunes of summer 2010 and one of the best tracks that’s been sent to me by Cecille so far.”

Tensnake 'Coma Cat'

The tune that started it all! Released on Permanent Vacation way back in December 2009, it’s where most people begun their love-affair with Tensnake. Arguably the happiest record of the year and certainly one of the most popular, this will be the soundtrack to many festivals for years to come.
“I still am blown away by the reaction to this record. It had to be on there!”

DJ Sprinkles 'Grand Central Part 1' (MCDE Bassline Dub)
MotorCityDrumEnsemble delivers a chest-destroying bassline with this remix and provides one of the highlights of the second disc. A big moment by anyone’s standard!
“This remix from MCDE is outstanding! One of his best productions yet.”
