Cult Chicagoan Tevo Howard will launch a brand new house label Tevo Howard Recordings next month.

Howard, who already runs the imprint Beautiful Granville Records, promises more classic four-to-the-floor built on stirring melodies and smart drum machines. Releases are already confirmed from legendary vocalist Robert Owens and rising electronic producer Kate Simko, also from Chicago.

The new label’s first outing, however, is from Howard himself – The Drum Machine Man EP, whose title is inspired by Howard’s regular passage through airport security loaded with drum machines in kit bags, features four new stripped-down house workouts.

Howard’s reputation has rocketed in recent years, following constant DJ work in Europe and the States as well as the release of several big tracks on labels including Rebirth and Rush Hour.

The Drum Machine Man is released on Tevo Howard Recordings in February 2011, date to be announced.
