2009 sees the seminal Boys Own crew celebrate 20 years of existence. And what better way to celebrate than with a long overdue party.

It's been nearly 15 years since the last official Boy's Own party. "The last one was in 1996" says founder Steve Hall "and to be honest we were all bored by it before it had even taken place. When it gets to that stage you know it's time to call it a day". Happily, the guys are attacking the 2009 event with renewed vigour, bringing together some of the DJs who have been involved since the parties and subsequent label inception as well as a host of fresh talent keen to work with some of the world's most infamous promoters.

The venue they have chosen is Cable, a new venue for 2009 located deep within the atmospheric labyrinth of London’s Victorian viaducts and archways – a place steeped in history and gritty ambiance and a fitting venue for a the birthday celebrations.

Here are all the details you'll need to get very excited about it all...
