Brit house stalwarts X-Press 2 will release a new studio album at the start of next year.

Rocky and Diesel are still at the helm, but Ashley Beedle has now left. Previously, the trio fired out big house tracks on Junior Boys Own (including Muzik Xpress) and Skint (most notably chart-topping, David Byrne-fronted single Lazy), as well as releasing albums Muzikizm (2002) and Makeshift Feelgood (2006).

The last album was released by Sony-BMG, but X-Press 2 is now back on Skint with The House Of X-Press 2. The list of collaborators is considerable; legendary house vocalist Roland Clarke is on board, so too Timo Garcia, Tim Deluxe and Analog People In A Digital World. The record’s sound is expected to be every bit as epic as earlier X-Press 2 releases.

The House Of X-Press 2 is released on January 23, 2012.
