Deep, stylish Dane Trentemoller – currently linked with a new LateNight Tales compilation - has announced a string of global tour dates to promote current acclaimed studio album Into The Great Wide Yonder, released last year.

Trentemoller plays Istanbul, Turkey on February 12 before the tour properly kick-starts in Lausanne, Switzerland on February 18. After that he takes in Rome, Italy (Feb 19,) Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Camboriú, Brazil (March 3, 5, 7,) the Ultra Music Festival in Miami (Mar 25,) the Coachella festival, in Indio, California (April 17,) and Murcia, Spain (May 6.) An appearance has also been confirmed at his home country’s pop, rock and dance fest, Skanderborg, on August 11.

Trentemoller’s stage persona is very different to the downbeat electronica one he currently records with. Gig-goers can expect animated, near schizophrenic DJ sets offering everything from upbeat house and bouncy pop to dark, minimalist techno and vicious breakbeat. His dates in the States, on the other hand, will give over to a full live concert experience, Trentemøller and six-piece band working their way through special, tuned-up versions of his back catalogue.
