Tribe kick off 2011 with their first live event at the recently refurbished Relentless Garage in London's Highbury, and aims to showcase live artists while still retaining the club experience.Heading up the first event will be one of Chicago’s finest jazz and soul legends, Peven Everett who comes to London for his first live show in over three years.
Peven Everett has been dubbed as one of the finest songwriters of his generation, gifted with the ability genre cross from Rhythm & Blues, Soul, Funk, Rap and contemporary house sounds and last summer saw the launch of his highly anticipated new artist album titled ‘Beyond The Universe’ on Tribe Records.
Peven was responsible for one of the biggest records in the UK Garage Movement, the now classic ‘Gabrielle’ on XL Recordings.
After the main show will be DJ performances from Tribe’s very own resident DJs Zepherin Saint and Matt L-S who will be playing their unique deep soulful house sounds and all the latest upfront Tribe Records releases into the small hours.
