Miami’s Ultra Music Festival has announced plans to extend globally in 2012 following its run of Bayfront Park shows next month.
Ultra’s Miami return, March 23-25, will feature Bayfront performances from the likes of Kraftwerk, New Order and Seth Troxler. Festival events under the same branding are then due in Buenos Aires, Argentina (May 5), Space Ibiza (May 27), Warsaw, Poland (June 13) and Seoul, South Korea (August 4). Poland is the only tour date at this stage with confirmed names – Tiesto, Aviici and Carl Cox.
Ultra has, of course, travelled before, with notable one-off visits to Ibiza and Brazil. Its formalised 2012 tour schedule promises a return to Brazil in the autumn, as well as a second Ibiza ‘closing party’-style bash October 7.
