Miami’s Ultra Music Festival has announced the first wave of acts for its 2011 gathering, now that the furore surrounding Winter Music Conference dates has started to die down.

Deadmau5, Tiesto and David Guetta will indeed, as rumours have been attesting for several weeks now, headline. Elsewhere, Royksopp, Chromeo, Mr Oizo and Boyz Noize play; so too tech-housers Simian Mobile Disco, the Klaxons, Joris Voorn and Claude VonStroke….

Beyond all those names, festival organisers have confirmed appearances by Gui Boratto, Carl Cox (in his own bespoke arena,) The Chemical Brothers, Trentemoller, Sander Kleinenberg, Laurent Garnier and Pendulum.

The Ultra Music Festival has been running for 13 years now, steadily building its reputation as one of the world’s biggest electronic music fests. Next year will see the event stretch to three days – March 25-27 - and run separately to the Miami Winter Music Conference; both for the first time.
