San Franciscan Dirtybird supremo Claude VonStroke is set to release his third artist album this September.
Urban Animal is, according to the press materials, a reference to those who live for the warehouse and the ‘liberating’ beat of the kick drum. Following previous albums Beware Of The Bird (2006) and Bird Brain (2009), Urban Animal promises VonStroke’s unique, exuberant brand of bass-house spliced with drum & bass, breakbeat and Chicago Juke. Guest collaborators include DJ Nehpets, Mr Fox and Py. It is Dirtybird’s 100th release.
