Andrew Weatherall is to release an album under his new guise The Asphodells.
The influential producer has teamed with Timothy J Fairplay for the project, called Ruled By Passion Destroyed By Lust.
Weatherall worked with Fairplay when he was part of electro trio Battant, which he helped produce. Fairplay has since released material on Astro Lab Recordings, World Unknown, Bird Scarer, Emotional Response and Magic Feet.

According to the release information, the set is more akin to his electro leanings as Two Lone Swordsmen.
It will drop on Weatherall's own Rotter's Golf Club imprint in March.
