Well, you can now be a DJ in the comfort of your own home with the spanking new DJ Hero game. The game features tracks from Defected so you can practise being the next Kenny Dope or Copyright!
DJ Hero is based on turntablism and features more than 80 remixes of two different songs from a selection of over 100 different songs across numerous genres. To score points, the player must press buttons to activate accented beats, adjust their crossfade between the two songs. Features also include scratching and DJ tricks! The DJ gets marked on the screen by a virtual crowd so no need to worry about clanging the mix in front of live audience! Many DJ and mix artists have contributed to the game both in the game's development, the creation of mixes, and in lending their images for playable avatars in the game; these including Eminem, Jay-Z, DJ Shadow, Z-Trip, DJ AM, Grandmaster Flash, DJ Jazzy Jeff, and Daft Punk.
When can you get your hands on this new game we hear you scream? Well it’s set to be released before Christmas this year so best get your wish list sent to Santa.
The DJ Hero package, boasting a special turntable controller for use with PlayStation3, Xbox 360 and the Wii, will arrive in shops October 27. Prices from £109.99.
