Seemingly unstoppable New York duo Wolf + Lamb – AKA Zev Eisenberg and Gadi Mizrahi – will release a new studio album later this month.
Versus arrives two years after game-changing debut long-player Love Someone, which effectively summarised the boys’ revolutionary penchant for slow, leftfield, deeply meditative and introspective house music. More of that sound can be expected on the new record – originally titled Based On A True Story – but there will be even greater focus away from the dancefloor.
Many of Wolf+Lamb’s Marcy Hotel ‘mates’ are involved as collaborators, including Soul Clap, Greg Paulus, PillowTalk, Night Plane and Rap Lisa (a relative newcomer). Versus consists of entirely new material and is released on the Wolf + Lamb label on October 22.
