One of South Africa’s finest, beatsbyhand lands on Mahaba Music with two-track EP ‘Come Back’. A true representative of the Afro electronic scene, beatsbyhand is known for his 3 step originals and his versions of house’s best-known tracks, including ‘King Of My Castle’ and ‘Gypsy Woman (She’s Homeless)’. After honing his own sound through many more releases on Stay True Sounds, the genre leader now makes his debut on Kitty Amor’s Mahaba imprint. For the title track, beatsbyhand collaborates with fellow SA producer TiMO ODV, an artist whose impressive discography many high-streaming and chart-topping records, from 2015 breakout ‘Save Me’ to 2024’s ‘Another Love’ – also created with beatsbyhand. ‘Come Back’ is a uniting of these two accomplished artists, with pulsating synths and haunting vocals representing that undeniable Afro electronic sound.
