A familiar face to Soulfuric, DJ John ‘Julius’ Knight worked closely with Brian Tappert and Marc Pomeroy on various collaborations including Cleptomaniacs. Originally released in 2011, ‘The Underground’ saw John team up with New Jersey legend Roland Clark on this spiritual house groove, which now receives the remix treatment from three esteemed selectors for today’s dancefloors. Up first, it seemed only fitting Brian Tappert would provide a remix, delivering a dose of his signature grooves to the package. Up next, Dennis Quin goes for a more laid-back affair, with drawn-out keys and a rolling bassline. Finally, Italian tech titan Marco Faraone delivers his remix, raw and soundsystem-ready as he utilises Roland’s vocal to hypnotic effect.
