Mike Dunn – My House From All Angles
Kicking off the summer with an album from a house legend – Mike Dunn’s My House From All Angles was a record fuelled by a pumping heart of pure house and a body of powerful analogue muscle. As Mike’s first long-player since 1990 it truly re-instated his authority as a house master. As The Guardian wrote, “God may have made him funky, but Mike Dunn has kept it going ever since.” Stream and download here.
Dave + Sam featuring Mike Dunn – Til The World Blow Up
Brooklyn duo Dave + Sam made their debut on Classic earlier this summer with ‘Til The World Blow Up’ alongside fellow Classic label-mate Mike Dunn. This evocative dancefloor groover aligned perfectly with Classic’s catalogue and offers an exciting preview of Dave + Sam’s forthcoming album ‘No Shade’. Stream and download here.
Oliver Dollar featuring Nils Ohrmann – John’s Church (Remixes)
After Oliver Dollar brought us his incredible album ‘Another Day Another Dollar’ on Classic earlier this year, the steamy, hard-hitting and gospel tinged ‘John’s Church’ had its own release in the form of two brand-new remixes from Mousse T. and Cassius. Stream and download here.
Loods – Walking Way
Australian DJ / producer Loods makes his Classic Music Company debut with a suitably blissful and summer-ready release ‘Walking Away’. Eli & Nomi – Dance 4 Love ‘99
Influential NYC DJ Eli Escobar and critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Nomi Ruiz have produced a collection of timeless club gems. Now after years of featuring on one another’s records they launch their joint project Eli & Nomi with this debut release on Classic. As they continue to work away in the studio on their full-length LP, ‘Dance 4 Love ‘99’ showcases their funk-laden, disco infused style in a glorious ode to the dancefloor. Pre-order 12” here.

July: Classic X Percolate Pride
As part of London’s Pride celebrations, Classic hooked up with London institution Percolate to throw a huge celebration at E1. With Honey Dijon, Horse Meat Disco, Luke Solomon, Michelle Manetti and Super Drama joining the bill it was an unforgettable night. Check out the 14 tracks that rocked E1 that night here.
