While the final line-up for Defected Croatia may be the main reason for heading to the festival this August, the idyllic setting of The Garden Tisno means there are many more incentives for getting involved in the fun. This year the festival site is bigger and better than ever with a few exciting additions that will ehance your trip...
Environmentally friendly:
The Garden has announced there will be no plastic onsite this year apart from water bottles, all cups are biodegradable algae based and soft drinks will be in recyclable cans. There will also be specialised recycling stations.
Food Court:
A brand new designated food court is going to be available on site this year headed up by executive chef Marko Palfi, including a vegan cafe, gourmet burgers, wraps and salads and an Asian fusion stand on offer.
Sun deck area:
Previous festival attendees will be familiar with the crazy golf course, this year most of this will be covered with decking to make an extension of the beach with sunbeds and waiter service for when you want to chill out and catch some rays.
New bars:
This year there will be not one but two new bars, one will be placed next to the Grove stage, will be fully stocked with a terrace. The second will specialise in craft ales as well as regional craft gins, rum and beer based cocktails.
