Back for a fourth year, we can now reveal the line-up of talent set to take over our flagship festival in Malta this October.

From pre-parties on Thursday 02 October to the early hours of Monday 06 October, our weekend festival delivers summertime heat later in the year, with an immaculate atmosphere and last year's many surprises making Defected Malta a DJ Mag Top 100 Festival in 2024.
Icons of the electronic music scene making their mark on Defected Malta for the first time include Honey Dijon, Purple Disco Machine, A-Trak and The Reflex, with even more headline names set to be announced.
Joining them will be the likes of Nic Fanciulli, Melé, TSHA, Horse Meat Disco, Thakzin, Danny Howard, Arielle Free, Eats Everything, Groove Armada, The Shapeshifters, Carl Craig, Hannah Wants and Sam Divine to name a small few...
Hosted across Malta’s most in-demand venues, we're returning to St. Paul’s Bay with takeovers at the town’s luxe beach club, Café del Mar. Multi-room venue UNO continues to serve as the main hub in the evenings, with the versatile space hosting stages from us and the family of labels Glitterbox, Classic Music Company, Nu Groove and Faith - with even more takeovers to come in the lead up to October.
A returning festival favourite, boat parties offering an intimate artist experience and unparalleled views of Malta will set sail daily – soundtracked by world class house music from the scene’s best.
Following last year’s brand-new venture, UNESCO heritage site The Ditch returns for a unique take on open-air celebration, set in the heart of Valletta with ancient stone walls keeping avid party-goers cool. We were one of the first to ever book a party at The Ditch, so we are thrilled to return to this striking setting.

Defected Malta will begin with pre-parties on Thursday 02 October until the early hours of Monday 06 October 2025.
