On 12th of February the innovative chaps at the Red Bull Music Academy are getting together with Resident Advisor to provide us with a night of sure-to-be breathtaking music and performance.
They will be curating a night at the Royal Festival Hall that brings together a host of pionering electronic artists. The mighty line up includes: Carl Craig, Francesco Tristano, Moritz von Oswald, Matmos, Bugge Wesseltoft, Henrik Schwarz, and Terre Thaemlitz as DJ Sprinkles. Also playing will be a selection of the Red Bull Music Academy's participants, handpicked from around the world and re-working today’s sound formulas into distinct new signatures of their own.
Electronic music has long since moved on from being seen as a low-brow form of entertainment and it's events of the this nature that continue to promote it as a 'proper' muscal genre, populated and promoted by incredibly talented individuals.
