Debate about the artistic merit of edit tracks is set to continue as cult New Yorkers Wolf+Lamb release more delicate re-jigs through their eponymous record label.
In actual fact, the Brooklyn boys are giving away the edits – by Wolf+Lamb teen regular Nicolas Jaar – as a free digital download EP this month.
Jaar follows recent well-followed work by labelmates Soul Clap, Jamie Jones and Lee Foss with six edits of established material by those including New Order, Nina Simone and The Grateful Dead.
