Kerri Chandler, Julio Bashmore and Apparat are among the dance names playing this year’s intimate Golden Down festival in the Black BushValley of Winchester’s Matterley Estate. Organisers say the rural English location has never been used for a festival before.
Golden Down, taking place June 15-17, will also welcome the likes of Mount Kimbie, Pearson Sound, Joy Orbison, Four Tet, Roots Manuva, Lorca, Adrian Sherwood, the Submotion Orchestra, Hercules & Love Affair, Lee ‘Scratch’ Perry, Ben UFO and Space Dimension Controller; the independent festival aims to mix indie and electronic and push eclectic new sounds.
As well as the music, revellers will also be able to enjoy chill-out spaces, a full campsite area with bars, amenities and award-winning food stalls. Visit http://goldendownfestival.co.uk for ticket information.
