Back in May this year, we relaunched Defected In The House as part of our 25th anniversary celebrations. The reinvention of In The House features premium live stream sets via YouTube and DJ mixes available on Apple Music, beginning in May 2024 with TSHA.
On Wednesday 30th October 2024, In The House will host a house icon from the upper echelons, Purple Disco Machine. Known for his instantly recognisable sonic aesthetic, Tino Piontek aka PDM continues to champion the sound of modern, nu disco and house like no other.
Filmed in his hometown of Dresden, the location holds personal significance for Purple Disco Machine following the release of his third studio album Paradise:
“For me, Paradise is here - my home. That’s why I Invited most of the artists, almost every artist to Dresden, to my Paradise, to write and record the whole album here. The venue also holds cultural and historical significance, with Semperoper Dresden being one of the world’s most iconic opera houses - hosting premieres from legendary late romantic composers including Wagner and Strauss.
