Over the past few years, Taras van de Voorde has built up his national reputation by playing at pretty much every major club and festivals in Europe, and you only have to witness the queues of enthusiasts in front of his local Catwalk in Rotterdam where he has held a long-term residency to understand the popularity of this fast rising DJ. On the production side of things, the release of tracks such as ‘Skylime’ and ‘1998’ brought props from DJs such as Pete Tong, Richie Hawtin, Agoria and Luciano while topping charts of prominent sites like Juno and Resident Advisor.

Fellow Dutch star 2000 and One recently re-edited his track ‘1998’, giving it a new lease of life for 2011 and causing it to be rinsed by pretty much every tech-house and techno DJ on the planet. Plus his latest record 'The Game' was recently made Essential New Tune by Pete Tong.
Taras van de Voorde will be playing at Ushuaia on Saturday 6th August.
