A musical home for the genre-blending and forward-thinking, record label The Remedy Project from London-based tastemaker Melvo Baptiste, lands at The Pickle Factory with its first ever showcase on Thursday 20th April.

Marking its first solo event, the imprint will welcome artists across the spectrum for a night of live music and DJ sets. Joining us for the debut will be Dublin’s songstress shiv with her unique blend of sultry soul and R&B alongside rising star musician Jermone Thomas. With a debut release forthcoming on The Remedy Project, house trailblazer T.Williams completes the line-up with label boss Melvo Baptiste, delivering an unmissable night of future stars and incredible music for artists and listeners alike.

Launched in March 2021, The Remedy Project swiftly became an output for those blurring the lines between rare groove, house, disco and neo-soul. Releasing music from the likes of Liv East, Close Counters, dreamcastmoe, Donea’o and more, the label’s founding principles are to offer a platform to like-minded artists pushing the boundaries of genre. Showcasing The Remedy sound every month with guest features from the scene’s rising stars, the imprint’s monthly show via SoundCloud has feature the likes of Jitwam, Sinead Harnett, Oscar Jerome, Ross Allen, Snips, Lady Wray and Allysha Joy.
