Luke Solomon’s left-of-centre imprint Classic Music Company is set for an electrifying summer. Since its birth in 1994 and recent renaissance, the label has gone from strength to strength while maintaining its one-of-a-kind-ness, building a distinctive and well-respected family of artists. This summer season promises releases from the likes of Honey Dijon, Louie Vega, Lee Curtiss and many more as well as bringing back Classic's weird and wonderful parties to London, Ibiza and Croatia. Read on to find out what's in store.

Classic parties made a long-awaited returned to London with a special Love + Pride collaboration with High Hoops at the subterranean warehouse Hangar on Saturday 7th July for a night of wonky house, disco and techno. The energy was electric and Honey brought the house down alongside Luke Solomon, Dan Beaumont, Sophie Lloyd, Michelle Manetti and the High Hoops DJ's.

Folamour, Nightmares On Wax, Jamie 3:26 and many more label favourites head over to Defected Croatia in Tisno on 9th – 14th August in a series of unmissable Classic stages and boat parties.

The Deputy of Love, hosted by Luke Solomon, Honey Dijon and special guests, is set to close its doors this season at Pikes in Ibiza on 26th September. According to Honey Dijon herself, "The concept for Deputy of Love Disco Tour is to bring color, vibrancy, theatricality, queerness, inclusion, and a sexually charged energy and environment back to club culture”.

Honey Dijon returns with her transcendental ‘Xtra’ album following her mesmerising ‘Xtra EP’. Set to release on 6th July, Derrick Carter, Horse Meat Disco, Eli Escobar and many more put their stamp on this glittering array of stomping Honey tracks.

Louie Vega works his magic on label-head Luke Solomon’s much-loved groover ‘Light You Up’. His remix is available digitally from 27th July and is also included in the brand new ‘Light You Up’ 12” vinyl package dropping 6th July. More vinyl gems to come in the form of Croatian disco producer Ilija Rudman’s ‘Lovers Change Minds’ on 20th July.

Lee Curtiss makes his Classic debut with ‘Erotic Tendancies’ on 24th August, Brooklyn-based DJ Juan MacLean delivers his second Classic release ‘Just One More’ on 10th August and Soul Clap returns with their ‘Run It EP’ on 7th September.

Look out for more Classic merchandise in the making, including new t-shirt designs, USBs and Frisbees dropping very soon.
